Description
The DigiCity external I/O expansion module is designed to collect data from the built-in discrete inputs and transmit it to the RS-485 network for subsequent transmission to the main device. It also provides a control signal to the connected actuator (relays, starters, valves, solenoids, etc.). The module is used in control, protection, and automation systems for energy systems, public utilities, and home automation. It is designed to control the built-in discrete output elements used to connect discrete-controlled actuators. Devices are used in remote access systems to expand the number of channels for incoming information.
Applicable for:
- automation of remote process equipment;
- control and dispatching of distributed production complexes with remote input/output;
- collection and transmission of information;
- automation of technological complexes, production lines and sections: machine groups, assembly lines, conveyors, etc.
It is used to expand the signals of the DigiCity controller.
