Description
This is a fully factory-assembled unit that includes all the necessary technological equipment (heat exchangers, pumps, filters, regulators, etc.) with piping, shut-off and safety valves, mounted on a single frame. The units are also equipped with instrumentation, automation, and power cables.
Full factory readiness minimizes the time and costs associated with installation work when placing the MHS (Modular Heating Substation) at the site (only connection to the networks is required). During design, the MHS layout is customized to account for room dimensions and other customer requirements. Manufacturing (without the design phase) based on the customer’s documentation is also possible.
MHS Components
Based on the input data and technical requirements, it may consist of the following assemblies/modules/units:
- input unit (heat energy metering
- and regulation unit)
- heating unit;
- hot water supply unit;
- make-up (mixing) unit;
- ventilation unit.
- working medium ‐ steam, water
Operating fluid: steam, water. MHS units find application in heating, domestic hot water (DHW), ventilation, and central chilled water systems.
Scope of application
Primarily intended for the housing and utilities sector, MHS units can also be implemented in industrial applications, for instance, in process engineering within the food processing industry, provided that aggressive media are not present.
